New Head of Service of the Federation appointed

| | President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed Professor Oladapo A. Afolabi as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.
Prof. Afolabi takes over from Mr. Steve Oronsaye, whose tenure expires today.
The new head of service is a professor of Applied Chemistry, and was until his appointment, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education.
In a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Ima Niboro, on Monday, November 15, Prof. Afolabi will be sworn in tomorrow.
“The President thanked Mr Oronsaye, the outgoing Head of Service of the Federation, for his stewardship, and wished him goodluck in his future endeavours,” he said.
