“There’s work to be done”, President Yar’adua

President Umar Musa Yar’adua has expressed his appreciation to Nigerians, particularly those who have been coming to congratulate him on his assumption of office as the nation’s Number One Citizen.

His appreciations were contained in June 14 message to Nigerians.

While thanking felicitators, President Yar'adua said, “While I appreciate this great outpouring of affection and the pledges of support for which I feel humbled, I must say that there is so much work to do in our country today and I will like to concentrate on the crucial task of repositioning our country for peace, sustainable development and prosperity”.

President Yar'adua was inaugurated as President of Nigeria May 29.
