Federal Executive Council to be inaugurated on Thursday

Following the confirmation of almost all of his ministerial nominees by the Senate today, President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua will formally inaugurate the new Federal Executive Council at 10.30 am on Thursday, July 26, 2007.

A Press Release signed by Mr Olusegun Adeniyi, Special Adviser on Communications to the President said each minister-designate may be accompanied to the swearing-in ceremony in the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa by a maximum of two guests.

The names of the accompanying guests are to be forwarded to the Presidential Villa by the close of work tomorrow.
