President Yar’Adua presents FCT budget to Senate

| | In line with the constitutional provisions on the status of the FCT, President Umaru Yar’Adua, has presented the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) 2008 budget of N69.45 billion to the Senate.
The Budget which was presented in a letter to the Senate, read by the Senate President, David Mark on May, 8 gave prominence to the development of infrastructures with N43.96 billion as capital vote while personnel cost had N15.77 billion and N9.72 billion for overhead expenditure.
