New Head of Service appointed

A new Head of Service of the Federation has been appointed.

She is Mrs Ama Pepple who was until her appointment the Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Finance.

In a statement issued by the Special Adviser on Communications to the President Mr Olusegun Adeniyi, Mrs Pepple takes over from Engineer Mrs Ebele Okeke who retired last Friday.

Ms.Pepple was appointed PSF in October, 2007. She is a brilliant, seasoned and experienced public administrator.
She had her Primary School education at the St. Cyprian's School,Port Harcourt.
She obtained a Grade 1 Certificate in her "O" levels examination after completing her Secondary education at the Archdeacon Crowder Memorial Girls School Port Hartcourt, Nigeria.
She then proceeded to the College of Further Education, Bath Lane, Newcastle-Upon Tyne, England for her "A" Levels.
Ms. Pepple is an Alumnus of the prestigious University of Ife, Ile – ife, Nigeria with a First Class B.SC Honours Degree (1972 – 1975). She then obtained a Masters Degree from the School of Oriental & African Studies, University of London,United Kingdom in 1981.
