President Yar’Adua receives envoys from Eritrea, Niger Republic

President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua on Tuesday August 5 at the State House in Abuja received Special Envoys from Presidents Isaias Afwerki of Eritrea and Mamadou Tandja of Niger Republic.

The Eritrean envoy, Mr. Tesfai Ghebresalasse, Minister of Mining and Energy, requested for Nigeria’s assistance in the supply of crude oil, while the Nigerien envoy, Madame Aichatou Mindaoudou, Minister of Foreign Affairs brought her country’s appreciation for Nigeria’s support and commitment to warm and cordial bilateral relations.

President Yar’Adua assured the two envoys for the special messages and assured them of Nigeria’s continued cooperation.
