Defence retreat postponed

| | Following the changes approved by President Umaru Yar’Adua in the command structure of the Armed Forces today Wednesday August 20, the Defence Retreat scheduled to begin in Kaduna tomorrow, August 21, 2008 has been postponed until further notice.
A statement signed by the Special Adviser to President Yar’Adua on Communications, Mr Olusegun Adeniyi said the Honourable Minister of Defence, Alhaji Yayale Ahmed regrets any inconveniences the postponement might cause all those invited to the retreat, especially former Heads of State and royal fathers.
