FG appoints 2009 Hajj delegation

President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua has approved the appointment of a 15-member Federal Government delegation to the 2009 Hajj [pilgrimage] to Saudi Arabia.

A release from the Office of the Government of the Federation said the delegation would be inaugurated on Monday October 19.

Members of the delegation are:

Senator Kanti Bello [Leader]
Senator Dr. Ahmadu Ali
Senator Munirudeen Adekunle Muse
Hon. Usman Bature
Jibril Maigari
Ambassador Ibrahim Kazaure.
Saburi Biobaku,
HRH Abbas Tafida, emir of Muri,
Mrs Latifat Okunnu
Sheikh Muhammad Abba Aji
Sulaiman Okando
Alhassan Shu’aibu
Mustapha Jarick
A representative of the judiciary, and
